Clive James has died?

Just heard in the news, was just thinking how sad re Gary Rhodes. Always loved CJ, and his dry sense of humour.

Ah I didn't think to look for a link. What a shame he was a nice chap (seemingly). Surprised the funeral has already happened.

His books are wonderful - Unreliable Memoirs and Falling Towards England - about his childhood in Australia and emigrating to London in the sixties, they're well worth a read.

So fabulously funny and self-deprecating. He could make me laugh out loud with just an incredulous look at the TV camera. I thought he was great.

Oh no, I'm a huge fan of Clive James Sad. His book Unreliable Memoirs is hilarious, one of the few books to make me laugh out loud. Glad he managed to eke out some life after his diagnosis.

Just switched over to watch Masterchef and they are showing him and Mary Beard. He says he will never sees Australia again but would if he could.
