Just looked at a Swiss news site and they seem to have renewed their search yesterday, if my basic German serves me well.

A 5 year old girl disappeared in Switzerland on her way to swimming. The man who is believed to have abducted her was found dead in in the woods and coincidentally had travelled to Spain (where his wife lives) and Portugal at the time of Madeleine Mc Cann's disappearance. But for that possible link the case of this little girl probably wouldn't have hit the British media radar

Hadn't heard about this either, so I googled it, and the first article that comes up, doesn't even have a pic of the missing girl, but a pic of Madeleine Mcann instead.
