apparently

Wow he must have been a pretty fit 92yr old....I know of a few people of his age who are still living at home independently - but I doubt they'd be "running" for help

I have a great uncle who is 93 who still works his ranch every day. Still rides a horse to. You'd be suprised.

my dp's gandad (87) doesnt let age stop him at all

true - but I still can't imagine then running - maybe walking pretty quickly (dear lady up the road who sings in my choir moves at a decent pace but she certainly wouldn't run LOL)

I know a 94 year old who walks faster than I do - I find it hard to keep up with him - reckon he could run if he wanted to.

They are some fit granddaddys out there. No reason he couldn't have ran

DH's granny (96) is very fit, both physically and mentally. I'm sure she could run if the occasion called for it .

Good luck to him. I'm sorry he had such an awful experience.

Bloke from the next village in his 90s bikes to our village every day and its 4mile round trip. Reckon he could jog a bit if he had to, looks quite fit.
