Sweden reopens Assange rape case

This was the original Guardian article containing some of the charges:
www.theguardian.com/media/2010/dec/17/julian-assange-sweden

I am fully confinced he is guilty and I am still incensed that his victims had to go into hiding after the Assange-fanboys went after them, but I am not sure how I feel about this.

They should never have dropped the case in the first place.

The case in itself deserves a fair hearing and trial for all sides. I am more wary of the underlying geo-political case tucked covertly underneath.

They had to drop the case because there was no way for the prosecutor to proceed.

So now it is up to Javid to decide whether a rape charge is more important than a hacking case with a five year maximum term.

He was never actually charge with rape. He was wanted for questioning when he fled the country.
