Anyone else think the it is an utter DISGRACE that this man has not been caught yet? I don't usually feel this strongly about things but I am absolutely appalled that this man is still at large.

He kidnapped 2 women and held them for up to 12 hours. He drove around for hours. He threatened to kill someone who tried to help them. He went into a hotel and there is a clear description of him. He will be in loads of CCTV. His car will be on loads of CCTV.

He is probably the most dangerous man in the country right now. Why isn't there the facility to put up an urgent appeal on the TV and say that we need to catch this person ASAP?

Or is it the case that low levels of policing and/or the fact that it is "just women" hindering finding this sub human excuse of a man?

Do you have a magic spell that will help find him? If someone doesn't want to be found and is clever about it, it's not so easy as just having more cops. He'll get located eventually.

Seems like they have a lot to go on though. Someone must know him. They should have had his description out straight away or an e-fit. Plenty of people have seen him.

Catching him is a top priority. He has already threatened to kill someone.

I'm local, and believe me it is a very high profile story.

49andFruity · 30/04/2019 09:57

I am on the border of Herts and there is nothing in the news today about it where I live nor in the national newspapers.

Local and high profile

Well, I’m up in Scotland and have seen it in the news and online so the info is out there.

You make it sound like the police aren’t bothering to do much!

49andFruity · 30/04/2019 12:15

That wasn't really my intention.

I just think that this man is so dangerous to women that all stops should have been pulled out to get him and quickly before he kills. He's clearly deluded. Next time that woman might not escape.

He has now been identified. All stops will have been pulled out to catch him and will continue until he is caught.

Sforsh49 · 30/04/2019 12:21

I can absolutely guarantee the stops are being pulled out and those officers looking to Identify and locate him will be working every hour god sends. It's easy to criticise when you don't know what is going on behind the scenes (rightly so) or have no experience of actually working on a "man hunt". They will be using CCTV, Number Plate Recognition systems and anything else available to them. Pressure will be on from all angles to find him. Just bear in mind the car could be on false plates, which could have now changed again, meaning tracing the car is difficult. if someone wants to go to ground, then that's what they'll do. It makes the job so much harder.

OK good, so there is more info out there. They know who he is so he should be outed soon hopefully.

I wasn't try to slag off the police or anything. I am just truly appalled at this man and what he has done. He is an absolute monster.

I don't get what the other guy who was in custody has to do with this. They arrested someone and released him but he is still under investigation?

Surely it is him or it isn't?

He has been arrested. Thank God. Key thrown away situation I think. Inadequate specimin.

azulmariposa · 06/05/2019 07:59

Probably a friend or family member was hiding him. Five women abducted and he's finally been caught.
