it was a simple query, did the viewing public know of this advert? im not in the country sorry if you were annoyed

There are dozens of threads on this already with thousands of posts.

Answer is that I don't believe people were aware of it for the first few showings. Then mumsnetters knew because people posted on here.
So people didn't necessarily know that they might have to explain what has happened to Madeleine to their children.
