I don't know, the whole business seems to me to encapsulate everything wrong with our society. Some poor Romanian guy being stabbed to death by a gang of low lifes whilst protecting a bunch of rich elites holding a very dodgy sex party.

What an absolute waste of a life.

I know what you mean Tinkly. This type of death really gets me, similar to drink drive deaths and tourist murders - just the awfulness of having a normal day then crossing the path of a stranger and ending up dead (especially when young). I know it sounds trite but it really disturbs me. I'm probably expressing it badly, it's late after all, but wanted to empathise with you. As you say, such a waste of a life.

It doesn’t sit with right with me either but it wasn’t the ‘elites’ who stabbed him. That’s just typical Daily Mail fodder. You might tinily criticse the organisers for being tight and not hiring more people but again, it wasn’t them who killed him. In an ideal world and before the country went to shit you should be able to have a party in a private residence without having to employ security at all. Even a sex one

I'm not saying it was the elites who killed him. More that it is a crappy thing to die for and yes, the horrible sense of entitlement of a gang to just gate crash a party in such a violent aggressive way.
