I've heard of this case - and a piece on R4 just now highlighted the case.

About ten years ago a woman drank water from a cup and was accused of 'contaminating' the water supply.

She and her daughter were beaten up. Then the accusers claimed of her being blasphemous - and she was given the death penalty. Her family continued to receive abuse and threats.

It was mentioned on Amnesty's news page in 2014 but I guess they've been busy.

What can ordinary people do?

This explains the tragic story. Seems it stems from a disagreement between 4 women. Dreadful.
