You can't even begin to imagine, can you.

I don't know. Devoid of empathy? He does not see his daughter as a person? Completely and utterly self-centered? All of the above.

Apparently he tried to stab himself too, and when the paramedics arrived her was more concerned with his own injuries and breathing than the fact that he'd just stabbed his child through the heart.

It's not unheard of though is it - a man murdering the children to 'punish' a ex/partner (note I don't say 'father' or 'his children').

His lawyer asked the jurors to "look past the horror of what he had done". I bloody hope they didn't.

Why? That was why he was there! You cant sugar coat what he did. It was horrendous.

It’s awful, her poor mother. I live in the town where this happened and hope she took some comfort from the reaction from the community. Another life gone because a man was jealous

Why are there several cases like this a year? What on earth is wrong with men like this?

We live a few miles away and I saw a car the other week with a Mylee sticker in the back window. I believe that the local community have shown the family a lot of support and my heart goes out to her mother. It's just horrendous.

Every time I think about this I feel physically sick. That poor, poor lass and that poor Mum.

He genuinely deserves to rot.

Does anyone know if there is anything - any campaign, or collection, or Woolly Hug - that has been arranged?

This hits home for me because my sister lives on the same street as this utter bastard. I have to see that bungalow every week. I knew Mylee by sight, she seemed a lovely little girl.

The local community rallied after her death. There are still ribbons up and my heart breaks when I go to Brownhills.

He wanted to hurt Mylee's mother. His little girl screamed for him to stop. I'd be happy to hang the bastard.

Omg there are just no words, I saw the pictures of the little girl in the news earlier and I couldn’t bare to look at her little face eating pizza on her bed just a few hours before.

It says he tried to slit his wrists but failed, but he managed to murder his little girl as she cried

Why, in the 21st century, in the so-called civilised world, in one of the richest most privileged countries in the world, are men still able to hurt women and children just because they can?
