Interesting.

If she were my dd I would be very proud of her.

I hope her parents are proud. I well up every time I think how fabulous this is. Awesome.

cdtaylornats · 26/07/2018 14:39

Wait until the bill turns up for the delayed flight and she finds herself on a no-fly list. It will be a long trip back from Turkey by train.

I think she should have been removed and charged with endangering the flight.

continuallychargingmyphone · 26/07/2018 14:40

Wouldn’t they deport the man anyway?

RedneckStumpy · 26/07/2018 14:46

I don’t get why she wasn’t removed from the flight

Electrascoffee · 26/07/2018 15:02

She wasn't removed from the flight because in Sweden she wasn't doing anything wrong by refusing to sit down.

She had absolutely no knowledge as to why the man was being deported. There were a number of people protesting about deportation of illegal migrants from Frankfurt airport last year - they were all criminals due to be repatriated.

I certainly wouldn’t be proud if that were the case.

flatulencebythebucket · 27/07/2018 01:16

She should be left in Afghanistan too.

cdtaylornats · 27/07/2018 07:29

By refusing to sit down she was refusing a lawful order from the Captain of the aircraft.

She has been reported to the police and could face up to 6 months in jail. It is up to the airline whether they make a civil claim for costs.

amicissimma don’t expect anyone to acknowledge your point here.

There has been a deafening silence from everybody I know who tearfully applaud her stupidity.

That she ‘rescued’ the wrong man, a convicted wife beater and children abuser, will not be recognised by anyone who went large on her ‘bravery, compassion, humanity’ etc etc.

I despair.
