It's been in the news all the horror stories of brits waking up at the crack of dawn and running to reserve sun loungers on holiday. What are your experiences/ horror stories on this?

I once got my finger trapped in a sun lounger and the metal thing sliced through it. That was pretty horrific.

Hi daily mail Why not try writing actual news articles rather than getting Mumsnet to write them for you (on a shit topic at that).

itsbritneybiatch · 18/07/2018 14:50

They are so obvious with their writing style.

Sigh.

Not seen it personally, but have heard lots of instances of the older gent getting his south-swinging bollocks caught between sun lounger slats Grin

I had no idea this was a thing until I went on holiday to Egypt at 19.
I had my bag & flip Flops next to a lounger all day with no1 sitting on it. I began to lose my patience by lunchtime and just neatly moved the towel over to the next lounger.
At about 3pm some french woman screamed in my face whilst pointing at the towel.

What a shame I Don’t speak French.

Wolfiefan · 18/07/2018 15:36

Horror stories? I had a sun lounger that I left in the garage. It went a bit stinky and mouldy. I was horrified. Shock
