Visa for non EU spouse

Hi All,
I am EU(Dutch) national, currently, I am working in the UK. My wife is from Asia, she is not EU national.
My wife has a residence permit from the Netherlands.
I want to bring my wife to the UK. I am not sure if she needs any visa to enter the UK.

Can anyone advise me if my wife needs a visa to enter the UK and stay with me? If so, what type of visa is required and how should I apply for the visa?

Well, UK is not in Schengen so not sure how it works.

(I had a non-EU partner way before it got so complicated. All I had to submit was a letter of invitation for a visa).
