can't remember the law on wrecks and salvage rights because it's a bit complicated but it happens a lot where professional treasure hunters (now there's a cool job) are involved.

yeah, its some flash treasure hunting company from Florida.

oh, and i think they've been squabbling over it for awhile. it's a tough one really. don't know who's side I'm on. Wouldn't mind just a couple of those coins though.
