How very sad

Trooperslane2 · 08/06/2018 13:04

Not another one.

So sad.

IHaveBrilloHair · 08/06/2018 13:06

Absolutely gutted, I love him.

He was so lovely. Very sad.

My favourite TV food person. I used to daydream of taking him around to eat weird foods in exotic places.

He was always obviously quite the tortured soul.

Such awful news. He was such a dude and could relate to anybody and his series were unique, informative and very entertaining. Poor poor man to feel that he had to do that. RIP.

So surprised more people haven’t commented on this. He was perhaps less well known in the UK than I realised as we’ve watched all his programmes downloaded from US broadcasts. Fabulously dry sense of humour and so articulate yet fun. Since I have been able to travel less due to having a baby I have travelled with Tony instead. Even liked him I. the Taste!

Really didn’t see it coming, very very sad indeed.

I am surprised how affected I am by his death. It’s like losing a friend.

Me too. I used to watch his program all the time and his positive personality inspired me so much. I was talking to my dh about his death and he doesn't share same feeling. Yes, indeed I felt like losing a friend too.
