OMG, that is so horrid. Couldn't she have at least told someone so the baby didn't have to die

The woman doesn't deserve her 6yo son either - fancy taking him on a pub crawl and then leaving him for 1.5 hours whilst out too.

That is really awful . I feel really sorry for the cleaner tho - imagine going about your job and finding something like that.

If the story is anywhere near true, she obviously has very serious mental health problems.

hmm.. as meanbean says if it's true then something very very wrong but I'm not sure I'd believe everything written in the sun

suspect it is true - that sun have lifted it from CNN or American papers or reuters. Clearly alcohol and drug misuse problems involved, likely serious mental health problems like mean bean says. a dreadful story

Even worse - it says here that "The Denver coroner said the infant was a male and was born alive. The cause of death is listed as asphyxiation."

OMG that is horrific!

What about the 'friends' she was out with? If your heavily pregnant friend disappeared for 90 mins on a night out wouldn't you go and check up on her?

And even worse - she didn't just leave the baby -she suffocated it??

Awful.

She left the baby in a bin - that's how it suffocated It is too shocking to stomach.

POne of her friends went into toilets after her and saw her with some blood on her clothes. Apparantly she told her friends she had passed a kidney stone.

Apparantly she was high on cocaine. Doesn't excuse it by any means, but perhaps starts to explain it.

Oh my word! Just clicked on the ABC News link and I have to say I think her parents must be related! (ie cousins or something - clearly not 100%) What an evil B*tch! I just cannot believe that people would abandon/kill their newborn babies especially when there are so many people out there desperate to adopt. What's wrong with them?!?!? Truly upsetting stories.
