I see a group of Tories have written The Donald a letter to have his meeting held in Scotland to assure a warmer welcome!!!! Clearly these Tories have never been to Scotland if they think that will happen!

Olddear · 26/04/2018 18:51

I know! We don't want him either!!!!

Dusting off my placard as we speak!!

Olddear · 28/04/2018 19:13

Me too! I've never been on a protest in my life! But I'll be on this one!!!

FairfaxAikman · 28/04/2018 19:17

Another one planning to protest. Cannot forgive him for Menie.

Olddear · 28/04/2018 19:59

I can't forgive him for breathing. Horrible, horrible man.

Anyone who is so bad he makes some of the previous POTUS look good is pretty dire. ( Bush/ Reagan)

helloflamingogo · 28/04/2018 21:45

I suspect she won’t be a lone protest this time round...

DoryNow · 28/04/2018 22:03

hello God love her, she was ahead of her time.
Only objection I have is that it is an insult to c*s everywhere to compare him to one, as someone once said, at least they have depth & warmth.

DoryNow · 28/04/2018 22:03

Apologies for lowering the tone- I may have had a drink.

helloflamingogo · 28/04/2018 22:09

cdtaylornats · 29/04/2018 22:31

If he comes in the midge season the protesters will last about 5 minutes.

I hope he comes to Scotland, Sturgeons head might explode.

Olddear · 01/05/2018 09:43

I'll cover myself in cling film if need be!!!!!

It's getting quite interesting watching the left tie themselves in knots hating him while in Korea he's done more than any other President since the 50s.

I think North Korea has realised acting the unpredictable nutcase is very threatening until you are faced with exactly the same thing but with a bigger club.

DoryNow · 06/05/2018 12:33

cdtaylornats I think that has less to do with the respective willy wavers on both sides & more to do with the beleaguered advisors (on both sides) helping to calm them down. I also think that some clever Korean military expert/diplomat has pointed out to their beloved leader that war is EXACTLY what the toddler in chief wants & that it will be much more satisfying & also personally irritating to T to take the peace loving route.
The only difference is in the WH they can get sacked if they don’t get the boss to see sense, in Korea they & their family get killed on a whim so it was a bold move!!

cdtaylornats · 06/05/2018 19:16

DoryNow I knew no one on the left could ever bring themselves to even think well of Trump.

DoryNow · 07/05/2018 15:33

Nothing to do with left or right cd just a realistic outside observer who tries VERY hard to find the good in everyone, but fails spectacularly with the Toddler-in-chief.

Felicity556 · 09/05/2018 11:35

We should all get behind PresidentTrump and give him a great welcome for seeing off the crook Hillary!

SusannahL · 09/05/2018 13:33

Everything about Donald Trump has already been said, and there is a lot of bad feeling here about his forthcoming visit, but I really hope there are not any violent demonstrations from the awful 'rent-a-mob' brigade.

We all know what it will be like with angry, aggressive individuals waving placards and shouting abuse.

Whatever anyone's views of him are, it's important to remember that he is the US President. The US is our ally, so it really would not be in our best interest to allow these violent demonstrations to go ahead.

Of course those most likely to cause trouble wouldn't think of anything like that, would they?

DoryNow · 09/05/2018 14:32

Felicity565 No we shouldn't. I wasn't particularly pro Clinton but was excited at the thought of a woman in the WH at last. The "crooked Hilary" nonsense has all been disproved & really the woman has more class in her little finger than That Man has in his entire flaccid, over tanned body. Not to mention the diplomatic skills & political experience unmatched by many.

SusannaL Why should we give any respect or credit to That Man just bc of his job?

He disrespects the status of POTUS every single day by his behaviour, his corruption and his total inability to take on board the years of experience and expertise surrounding him, to help him do the job to the best of his ability.

I have no intention of being violent, but I shall be demonstrating & if it upsets him then tough, he needs to know the reality of what people think of him worldwide not just at home. I shall be doing it also on behalf of my many US friends who are living under the shadow of his lunacy.

cdtaylornats · 09/05/2018 17:31

Respect the job. Don't respect the man.

BarbarianMum · 23/05/2018 22:50

He hasn't achieved anything in Korea yet. This cycle of "nice north Korea/nasty north Korea" is nothing new.
