Drinks with more than 8g per 100ml will face a tax rate equivalent to 24p per litre.
Due to todays new sugar tax our works canteen has increased a 330ml can of coke from 80p to £1.10
A 500ml bottle has increased from £1.35 to £1.60
While I agree with the tax and don't drink full sugar fizzy juice, it does seem like they are hiking it up a bit more than they should. Have you seen similar increases today?
