Californian Hart Family tragedy

LA police have now stated the car was driven, most likely intentionally, into the Pacific Ocean killing the parents and three of their six adopted children.
Three of their children are missing.
Hoping against hope they will be found safe.
It looks like those children suffered. Neighbours said one of the missing children had asked them to leave food out for them as they were not being fed properly and were hungry. Sad
Just so sad for them.

Its very interesting how there was thread after thread about the Turpins but no interest in this family of adopted Black children who were starved, tortured and eventually murdered!

This is awful, I haven't even seen it on the news. Sad

I haven’t even heard of this- haven’t seen the news for a few days. Off to google

Strugglingtodomybest · 11/04/2018 08:32

This is the first I've heard of it too. Off for a Google...

How bloody awful! May the children rest in peace. I hope the three missing are found.

I also hadn't seen this in the news at all, though have been away too.
A body has been found in the sea in the past couple of days though as yet it isn't confirmed if it is one of the missing children.

It's very sad. I do think American familoes seem to be allowed to adopt far too many children. I've seen familes with 15-20 kids, many of them with disabilities. It does point to it being too easy for people to adopt

I think it’s because we don’t have a huge amount of information as to what exactly happened yet. I read a couple of articles about it but couldn’t really fathom what had happened.

I agree re lack of new information. The Turpin family had a huge amount of information available which kept emerging day after day for about 2 weeks.

I don't think there's any lack of interest due to the colour of the victims. There just haven't been any facts to discuss. All involved are dead or missing, there can be no trial or hope for the victims (unless by some miracle 3 are still alive somewhere), or even any first hand knowledge, its just very very sad.
