Exit polls suggest Sarkozy wins by about 54%. If so, no surprise there.

maisym · 06/05/2007 18:40

I'm thinking Sarkozy will win - always like elections. Results from 8pm french time

Sarko is damn short; Sego is scary - I would like to look like her though, wehn I am 53.......

Tinker · 06/05/2007 19:16

Is she 53? Blimey, she does look good. Love her name as well. Shallow? Moi?

motherinferior · 06/05/2007 19:17

Moi aussi.

He was leading in the polls though wasn't he

ggglimpopo · 06/05/2007 19:34

I am for Sarko; I really rated the idea of a woman till I listened to her and her ideas. She is full of empty - and impossible - promises. She is sort of slimey. There is a substantiated rumour that she doesn't live with M Hollande at all (her common law husband) but with a notaire. Vive la France.

Cecilia Sarkozy wears a divine watch. I want one like that.

Callisto · 06/05/2007 19:51

I named one of my chickens after her.

SenoraPostrophe · 06/05/2007 19:58

yes, I really like the idea of a female president, but Royale's policies are rather extreme. Not that I like the idea of France giving in to anglo economics either.

franca70 · 06/05/2007 20:13

I don't like this sarko man, I'm afraid...

toadstool · 07/05/2007 17:50

I couldn't see much to choose between the 2 of them but Sarko scares me more than Sego on quite a few fronts, whereas Sego just seemed like a made-for-media candidate. And as for his end-of-speech appeal to the 'children of the world' (barf!), then his pledge to help women 'who are forced to wear the burka' - good grief, how transparent is that?
