Bristol's youth services slashed by 30%

I wrote an article for the Bristol Cable about the new youth services. They've been cut from £4.2m to £3m and aren't going to include work with under 11s, play or open access sessions: thebristolcable.org/2018/02/no-more-play-council-slashes-youth-services-by-30/

It is bad news, but, from what has happened to our LA's Youth service over last 8 years, I am actually thinking "only 30%" - you are SO much better off than us

It is so very short sighted, as is cutting all the early years services, the police services, the carers and other social care provision, everything in the NHS, etc,etc,etc.

It is what is happening to ALL publicly funded services, and people don't really take much notice until if affects them personally.
