crazy and a little bit scary

lulumama · 23/04/2007 13:24

looks like it is a scary headline, and this won;t actually happen

mytwopenceworth · 23/04/2007 13:27

oh dear.

i shall need my hard hat, supersized popcorn tub, earplugs AND riotshield for this one.

hark - i think i hear, yes, heads actually exploding!!

just what we need though - a 'choose formula for a healthy, slim child' ad campaign!!!

Carmenere · 23/04/2007 13:32

Yeah but breastfeeding your child is cruel and it means that you are condemming them to a life of obesity innit

Appetitie suppresants in formulas??? What will they come up with next. Its insane.

LIZS · 23/04/2007 15:38

hmm according to the Times article it affects metabolic rate . So how would it regulate those at risk of anorexia in later life or who have a naturally faster metabolism.

paulaplumpbottom · 23/04/2007 15:50

Thats a very good point. My husband has an incrediably fast metabolism and has trouble putting on weight. Suppressing his appetite would have been a disaster.
