My dh says that he has seen a report that he has died.
I know he is close to the end, with organ failure.
I ha no idea he was ill, a big part of many people's youth and not that old really.

Think you're a little early but it's only a matter of time ... Sad to hear, he was my first heart-throb (when I was a toddler!)

At the moment it is unconfirmed. He is near death, certainly, but, despite the Google headline, there appears to be only one unreliable source saying he is actually dead.

I read he was in an induced coma this morning, haven't heard he's died but it was to be expected.

It does sound like a matter of time, poor man.

I am too young for him to have been a heart throb, but I grew up with older cousins playing his music and of course The Partridge Family.

I hope he isn't in pain.

I knew he had had issues with alcohol but hadn't realised he had also been diagnosed with dementia.
