I just wonder who on Earth granted planning permision for a school to be built in such area...

I know! And now they are building luxury flats right next door, which is blocking all the natural light out from their play area.

I will never understand the planning office, people in the area have been campaigning for 5 yrs to stop a company building a huge comercial mall in the most historical part of the city, they have more than 50,000 signatures against it but it seems very nuch that their only achievement so far is to delay the start of building works. Then the old lady next door asks to put a conservatory in her back garden, a nasty neighbour complain and she is not allowed!!! I think it's just a bad joke!

Really agree. And surely people will be less willing to buy the flats as well, knowing now what they do. It's a great nursery as well , am just amazed it was put where it was
