Man jailed after shooting himself

I know the consequences of him having a gun and what he actually may have intended to do with it are very serious here. But the story headline seemed so bizarre?

Wonder if it'll be either the shooting of his own testicles or the jail sentence that would make him think again in future???

I think the point of law was to do with consent wasn't it. That their consent wasn't valid as you can't consent to harming yourself so horribly

Brings to mind that nasty german case where 2 fellas.. well I won't go into it but it was all consensual and then one killed the other, with the other's permission...

anyone any idea what the verdict was in the end?
