Has anyone heard in the news about TK Max customers' card details being stolen?

I am a bit worried as I bought dd2 a lovely pair of chocolate boots back in October using my credit card. Now I don't know whether my card details may have been cloned or not. I haven't had anything suspicious on my statements yet. Does anyone know any more?

Please do check - my parent had over £700 taken from their card this week. The transactions apparently happened in America.

I just heard somthing on the radio in the cab about TK Maxx and being as pissed as a fart (lastday of term) I couldn't make it out. Is it just credit cards, I use my debit card all the time in thier and have done for a few years.

Tinkerdumpsandruns · 30/03/2007 18:29

It's 45.7 million card numbers but only about 1/4 of the cards are still active. So, only just 11 million. Phew!

divamumplusbump · 30/03/2007 19:16

how could this happen?

Rantum · 30/03/2007 19:19

Yeah, we got back from at trip to the states at Christmas where we had shopped at TK Maxx. Cancelled my dh's card in January because we had used it there. Then discovered today that it dates back to 2003-5 in UK. So who knows?
