How long can this chaos go on?

Bloody autocorrect!
Priebus!

How long before Sessions goes? The Americans got what they voted for! A real estate cowboy with a narcissistic personality disorder and a total lack of respect for his office.

SnowiestMountain · 28/07/2017 22:20

I think Sessions will go next week, Scaramucci shall we go the fandango seems to be bad news too, who knows where the whole saga will end, and of course it's all kicking off with NK, again Envy

BubblesBuddy · 28/07/2017 22:23

Ha ha! Thunderbolts and lightening, very very frightening! How true!

SnowiestMountain · 28/07/2017 22:24

Indeed!

LaSourciere · 28/07/2017 22:26

Do his supporters think this kind of upheaval is normal and acceptable? Seems like there is so much backstabbing and leaking in that place.

OP posts:
SnowiestMountain · 28/07/2017 22:28

Goodness knows what they think, it is beyond ridiculous. Nothing is getting done maybe that's for the best other than this constant merry go round of staff that he falls in and out with on an almost daily basis.

Neolara · 28/07/2017 22:33

Has anyone lasted the full 6 months?

BubblesBuddy · 28/07/2017 22:39

I think most sensible people in the USA are very upset about the farce that is playing out. However those who have seen their jobs go, hate Obamacare and Mexicans, and world trade, and Hillary Clinton, and LGBT people, the press and media, and Muslims etc etc are still happy no doubt.

BubblesBuddy · 28/07/2017 22:44

Scaramucci's wife has just filed for divorce apparently. Three years married and two children.

lljkk · 28/07/2017 23:15

Gosh, even Fox News is constantly talking about "soap opera", "feuds" and "games" of the current White House. They villify Scaramucci & never blame Trump, even though they also report that Trump didn't mind Scaramucci's vulgar attacks.

If you Watch the Fox coverage long enough, their political analysts say that Trump will veer towards getting more & more people with military backgrounds into his administration.

Huh. I thought Trump wanted business people in govt.

If Kelly becomes Chief of Staff, who will take over as head of Dept. of Homeland?

nauticant · 28/07/2017 23:40

As time goes on surely only the worst people would be willing to join the Trump administration. It must be glaringly obvious by now that anyone with integrity and loyalty is going to be shat on big time.

By the time he's finished having s gone through top businessmen, top military, top preachers, etc, he'll be recruiting from America's top prisons:

www.motherjones.com/politics/2013/05/10-worst-prisons-america-part-1-adx/

Either that or from the nemesis list of Batman.

lljkk · 29/07/2017 11:24

ha!
Listening to the Fox news cast made me understand better that some of the Trump base like Trump's divisive encouraging cut-throat competition between staff, leadership style. Maybe the logic is that it leaves only the toughest behind or that it MAKES people do their best when threatened with public humiliation. Being a selfish arse is big part of Ayn Rand's philosophy & it's produced demonstrably crap results, but still some people believe that Dog-Eat-Dog attitude is best for humanity. Or else the base are entertained by the idea of the political class self-imploding (and getting to watch that).

Scaramucci's wife must have said "I'll divorce you if you work for that orange buffoon", yet Mooch chose the buffoon. Promoting the Trump agenda was worth that personal price. Confused

Spicer & Priebus have held their dignity & not slagged their ex-boss off upon leaving. Trump probably sees them as wimps for not attacking him, and is further convinced he's better off without them.

TheaSaurass · 29/07/2017 13:19

The worse case scenario was for 'the Don', not used to be told from anyone within his empire what to do, also bringing his corporate management style and Apprentice competitive philosophy into the White House - and so its been proved, in the biggest job needing to work with those on the other side of the Swamp, to get key policies through..

Not so much about 'not playing well with others', the man is 'a nugget short of a happy meal'.

BubblesBuddy · 29/07/2017 16:26

Perhaps the sackings are part of his personal "draining the swamp". He seems to turn on his own people very readily. Looks like the swamp is engulfing the Trump presidency!

TheaSaurass · 29/07/2017 17:52

The "Curse of the Swamp Creature" (1966) duh, duh, daaaah

BubblesBuddy · 31/07/2017 23:08

It's struck again. Scaramucci gone after just 10 days. The new Chief of Staff wanted him out apparently. The General wants a steady ship! (Or should that be tank?)
