I'm not understanding your link between these two incidents? What am I missing?

SunnySomer · 24/07/2017 12:36

I can't see any link between the two either...

There is no link.

And to create a thread attempting to link them is very um, unwise.

Spreading terror, spreading fear and that feeling that we're under attack all the time... that's what terrorists do. Why are we doing it too?

Don't do it to yourself or to other people please. It's really not healthy or appropriate.

LanaKanesLeftNippleTassle · 24/07/2017 13:04

Oh ffs.

The 2 are completely unrelated, and it is fucking irresponsible at best, and downright malicious at worst, to delibrately conflate them.

Some people on here are paranoid enough without this sort of thread.

user1498911589 · 24/07/2017 13:06

I didn't say there is a link but I saw them on the BBC news site at the same time so put them in one message.

Bullshit.

Your headline clearly says "attacks in".

You are trying to connect them so the anxious and paranoid on here will get all upset and worried.

If you really wanted to discuss these items together you could have worded it literally a million times better.

LanaKanesLeftNippleTassle · 24/07/2017 13:10

People will read the heading and immediately think the two are linked, that's what I did.

I actually had a little heart stop moment and I am very fucking relaxed about this shit.
You must have thought about the reaction to such an inflammatory headline???

Figment1234 · 24/07/2017 13:15

Both reports say the incidents are not related to terrorism.

AlpacasPackOwls · 24/07/2017 13:15

They're not linked and neither are terror related so what do you want to talk about in this thread?

RancidOldHag · 24/07/2017 13:16

The Swiss police say the attacks are not terrorist related.

So there was one (possibly gang-related) targeted attack in one European country late Sunday night) and a another (rather gruesome) crime the next day in a different country, details of which are still emerging.

I don't see any likely connection.
