7 year old boy stabs a woman 21 times

Apparently the woman and his mum were fighting...........but couldnt someone have stopped him?...........he is 7 years old..and i would imagine to stab someone that many times would take some doing, and there would have been enough time for someone to stop him!!!

Why on earth couldn't someone have stopped him and minimised the injuries; his mum was there - could she have not restrained him some how?

What on earth has gone on , now or in the past, to make a 7yo even think of doing such a thing?

I know he shouldn't have attacked her with a knife and you question why he did this but surely he was right in wanting to protect his mother? My DS is fiercely protective of me and he is only 4, DP once pretended to attack me in a game of play fighting and DS launched himself at DP in order to protect me.

I wouldnt think she would be beaming..........more like worried about been seen as assisting her son in a vicious assault...........allegedly

The women were fighting, and must have still been fighting as ths boy was stabbing this woman.........maybe why he was ablt to do it so many times........she wasnt able to defend herself

Unless it wasn't the 7yo but he is getting the blame as " at the age of seven he is under the age of criminal consent". .

juule, yes i wondered that too.

Some adults, increasingly too, think that their kids behaving like this is impressive and cool / hard.
