Not many details yet - so don't know whether it was murder or accident - but doens't sound too good when its been reported like that

I hate my dh wandering around at night obviously looking like a priest (esp his effing cassock)- i always worry about pissed nutters

I used to work in a school in that area.

I left the school before he started as vicar there, but the school do all their Christmas concerts there and I helped out playing the piano for a couple of years after I left.

And in the last couple of years I've taken DD to see my old school perform their concerts.

Always seemed like a lovely, gentle man, great with the children. Finding this very upsetting. Am shocked.

oh blimey - just seem the update news story - he was stabbed. How awful for his poor family/

latest update is that it was his wife who found him - I can't even begin to imagine how awful that must have been.

its awful, there was a fight at the college where dh works on monday and now 3 boys are in hospital citically ill with stab wounds.

Terrible for all concerned.

This is so shocking, his poor family. Don't know why but I kinda assumed a man of the cloth would be safe from stuff like this. Must really shake people's faith

So sad this, his poor wife was there when it happened.

Makes me very nervous, I'm often in dark churchyards on my own. Awful that things like this can happen.
