in Bali where drug smuggling can mean the death penalty although the news reports say he could face 10 years in prison as he was carrying a small amount.

I feel really sorry for Gordon, after reading his book, Humble Pie, it tells of his brothers drug issues and how he has tried so many times to help him (paying for rehab etc) and nothing has worked.

The way he ended the part about his brother sounded as if he wouldnt be suprised if something like this happened.

The news report said that he (Gordon) had sent out representatives to try to help his brother but from the little I've read, I don't think they'll get a very sympathetic response. How awful - I'm trying to imagine if this were my brother.

I don't like Gordon Ramsey, but I do sympathise with his situation. My sister is into drugs and I don't even know how much money we have given her to try to get her on her feet or how many hours we have spent begging her to stop. Its a bad situation to be in.
