Darfur - educate me

I have been discussing the genocide in Darfur today with a class of mine and they want to write letteres to our local mp.

I am doing a follow up lesson with them and would jstlike some more information specifically what the options are for the world community in trying to reslove this situation.

There was a thread runnin somewhere regarding the petition that's being signed and think it had some links on it - I will try and find it.....
