This is quite local to me, it all sounds so far fetched!

Why would she agree to set off in the early hours of the morning? Why get back in the car if she managed to speak to an assistant at the petrol station? How on earth did her dad manage to guide the police to the exact road/vehicle? Confused

The general consensus in the comments I've seen is this is a load of bollocks!

Sorry, woman not girl! (Don't read anything into that, I'm only 24 so not being patronising!)

She was with an unstable acquaintance, near as I can tell. I suspect, having been in similar situations myself, she was as much concerned for him as she was for herself.

Well the Daily Fail have had a ball with it Hmm they've printed about 47 pictures of her.

I don't see how she was 'kidnapped'. She might have been in a very unstable situation but she went with him of her own accord.

I read that she dropped the charges.

MinesAGin · 13/12/2016 23:31

She dropped the charges because he went voluntarily into a psychiatric institute.

I don't see why she shouldn't be believed. She wasn't worried for herself, but thought he really needed help.

SouthernComforts · 13/12/2016 23:54

She describes him as having 'serial killer eyes' that's not very sympathetic.

I'm glad she is now safe, but it's an odd story.
