lol, apparently its one you hire there but looks similar to a mountain buggy c drive.

Tutter · 19/02/2007 13:21

ah

i knew you'd know

itsmeNDP · 19/02/2007 13:26

She does look very, very thin, but really, the fact that a woman famous for living in vertiginous and often completely unsuitable heels is wearing heels is considered newsworthy ?

FFS, in this case I say leave the woman alone

Victoria probably did use a buggy most of the way as she couldn't walk very far in her heels...

TwoIfBySea · 19/02/2007 22:34

Okay I take it all back, I got sent the link to the video of their "day out" and now feel really sorry for them.

I would totally stress out if I was going somewhere with dts and had to deal with this level of noise. I can see why little Brooklyn got ticked off too, nanny is a little rough with Romeo though.

suzycreamcheese · 19/02/2007 22:45

at least they got to spend some time with their mum for a change ....feel sorry for the whole lot of them actually ....

JanH · 19/02/2007 22:55

Agree completely with NDP - FFS, leave her alone! She can't do right for doing wrong, someone suggested earlier that she should have paid to have Disneyland closed in order to go round in peace - can you imagine the "who does she think she is???" if she tried that?

IMO she does the pout to control her face and avoid looking like a grinning idiot - she seems like a good mum, and a nice person, with well-raised polite kids - she and they should be able to have a day out without being subjected to this kind of thing.

Did any of you see the American girl conjoined twins on TV tonight? They went to Texas to stay with a friend who took them to a baseball game and arranged tickets next to the pitch specially, and they were subjected to a camera right in their faces instead of having a good time.

When people are on private family outings, especially with small children, their privacy should be respected.

ledodgy · 19/02/2007 22:56

I agree with Jan.

ssd · 20/02/2007 09:29

that video looks like hell

no amount of money would be worth that

Hulababy · 20/02/2007 09:38

Having seen the video I feel sorry for them - nightmare.

ScottishThistle · 20/02/2007 09:45

I honestly couldn't care less re the heels, I see many Mother's in heels & it doesn't make the papers!

I'm sure most of us would be too thin if we were in the press constantly!

Surely there's more important things going on in the World to write about!

Have to say she looks dreadfully skinny and not very arttractive at all in that top, but really sad to see the pic of her little blonde haired beautiful son crying like that, I hope it wasn't the photographers that scared him and made him cry
And so not bothered what shoes she wore to Disney. If she can cope with her kids and Disneyland in heels then good on her, I can't wear heels to save my life and am stunned when I see women in huge spikey heels skidding round Sainsburys, but whatever floats their boat.

itsmeNDP · 20/02/2007 14:04

Coming back to this thread...

Those people who are up in arms about her having security and people yelling at the public to 'back off', let's not forget that this is a woman who has been the victim of countless death-threats and who, not so long ago, was told by the police that they had uncovered a major plot to kidnap her children. If you were VB and therefore aware of just how acutely vulnerable you and your children were, I do not doubt for one second that you would have security too.

She took her children to Disneyland, she wanted to have a 'normal' (as normal as it can be when you are THAT famous) day out with her kids. FGS, Madonna is shot down in flames for proudly crowing about never changing a single nappy for any of her kids and someone who clearly tries to have as much involvement with her kids as possible (a la VB) is similarly shot at.

That video is very depressing.

divamumplus · 20/02/2007 14:13

agree ndp, she and her boys seem so vulnerable. poor lads, felt sorry for lil romeo.

ScoobyDooooo · 20/02/2007 14:15

Blimey after watching that i feel so sorry for her & her family, if that is what happens when you try to take your kids out of a day to somewhere nice then i think i would rather stay in.

I know she is famous & has to expect this to an extent but fgs can they not leave them alone for 5 mins?

TwoIfBySea · 20/02/2007 14:16

TeeCee, if you watch the video you will see the photographers were like sharks swimming round them. They would have scared me let alone a little boy!

Just shows that these pap photographs we see don't tell the whole noisy, terrifying, dangerous story.

Maybe she is so skinny because she is stressed beyond anything with them. I've totally had a change of heart, I'm with you Victoria, but I'd have swung for them if they had frightened my dts!

ScoobyDooooo · 20/02/2007 14:16

I also agree with Ndp 100% because if that was me i would also have many security guards around me, why risk yours & your childrens lives because that is what you would be doing without them.

TeeCee · 20/02/2007 14:16

Just realised that Romeo was crying becasue of the photographers. How awful. But while people still buy the trash that prints pics of VB and the likes then it won't stop.

TwoIfBySea · 20/02/2007 14:20

Glad to say I don't buy any of those kind of magazines (would Grazia count, I hope not, it is more fashion and articles than gossip.) If I did this kind of video would have made me stop cold turkey.

TeeCee · 20/02/2007 14:26

Nor do I. We get Heat at work and I have to flick through it for work reasons. Think it's just horrific when the children are caught up in a pap frenzy

ScottishThistle · 20/02/2007 14:28

Don't understand why anyone buys those gossip mags to be honest & why do people care so much about what Celebrities do, always baffled me!

itsmeNDP · 20/02/2007 14:32

I know it sounds odd, but I honestly don't think that when we (as consumers) look at these 2D magazine pics of celebs and their kids fully appreciate what a mad, crushing, pap, feeding-frenzy they create. Seeing the video of all the fuss, shoving and popping camera bulbs maybe makes it clearer just how distressing press intrusion can be for a family

TeeCee · 20/02/2007 14:38

I think that there are 2 sides. The celebs court the paps at first, they need them. They look for them, wear things, do things that will attract the paps, they pose and get their pics in the mags and that's what they want. It's true of the Beckhams and sadly true of Britney who seems to be playing out her pain through the media. Then it starts to become a nuisance and the celbs dopn't need the paps any more. Well bit late then really and slightly tough tbh. They sold their papers for them and continue to do so.

However when children are involved it's just wrong and there should be rules. Why were those paps in Disney world not physically removed from the site? I think they should have been. Surely Disney can evict troublemakers from the grounds if they have to. If a grpup of boys all enter Disneyland and start causing trouble surely security can throw them out. Why couldn't the paps get kicked out for casuing distress to a family and others in the vicinity?
