what is good about this country & what is bad?

Just wondering why the UK comes highest in Europe for eg, the highest teenage preg rate, highest crime rate, highest alcohol problem, highest drug problem, worst education system, worst healthcare, worst place to bring up kids.

What is really good about this country and what is really bad? I wonder if the bad outweighs the good. what do you reckon?

it really depends on where you live in the UK doesn't it?

I think having free healthcare is wonderful. It will never be perfect but thank god we have it. Ask anyone in the US who has to pay insurance for it.

Also there are loads and loads of wonderful teachers in our education system - the "system" may not be great but the teachers generally are (and I'm not one BTW ha ha!).

I wouldn't bring up my kids anywhere else.
