My dh found these dogs :( very sad

On Friday my dh who works on sewage works for UU, looked in one of the large tanks and spotted these dogs (ended up vomiting on the spot), dh said he thinks the only way these dogs have ended up here is someone has put them in a manhole

I know they are pit bulls and is pretty obvious the owners were frightnened they would get prosecuted for owning them but the rspca guy who came to get the dogs said they were about 3-4yr old, there was a bitch and a dog...the bitch looked like she had recently had pups and the rspca guy said she looked like she had 3 litters in total.

The rspca said they would investigate and took the dogs away in body bags for a autopsy.

what made him vomit? i take it the dogs were in a bad way. Were they tortured? Or just been there a long time? Sorry to ask just curious at how bad it was to make a man throw up.

So sorry for your DH having to find dead dogs when at work - pretty sick.

BM, I think it was just the shock of seeing them in there, obviously not a very regular thing to see in a sewage tank.

The dogs were intact and there were no signs of them being killed before hand, so it is looking like who ever it is has just thrwon them down a manhole or open part of the sewer alive

Thats awful!!!! I don't like pit bulls and I certainly think they should be banned but they shouldn't be treated like that.

Jesus, there are some evil bastards around. Hope they are caught.
