just in case people are travelling and haven't seen the news.

Question though. if you were driving on the other side, would you keep driving under the part that wasn't collapsed? on footage it seems lots did, but Im pretty sure I wouldn't. Especially as it looks to be dipping down.

I would expect the road to be closed pfq in both directions.
and no, I wouldn't drive through it unless it's in a bad location and I couldn't stop before I saw.

Just seen no way would I have drove under it .Shock

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/08/2016 16:09

reportedly people were trying to stop people driving under it before the emergency services arrived.

What an absolute miracle that no one was killed.
There certainly is someone up there.
Hope the poor gentleman with the broken ribs is better is on the mend soon.
I wonder how it happened.

Lorry with a digger on top went under and was too tall for it. I think the bridge in question is very new and not actually open for pedestrians yet (thank goodness)

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/08/2016 19:09

It would be horrid to be the Lorry driver! We all make dweeby mistakes, some have bigger consequences than others.

Yea that's what I thought when 300 people died in that Italian Earthquake. Confused

They don't like Syrians much, do they?

FFS. You can't say anything on here. Without getting chewed up and spat out.
I meant there certainly is or rather was in the instance of the bridge collapse.
