Transit of Venus

Is anyone watching it? We've had a few breaks in the clouds (cloudy in the Hebrides today) and it is awesome!

Not seen it, although hot it is very cloudy here in Doncaster.

The site is good though; just watching live feeds from Sheffield. Looks almost over on them.

We saw it. My husband is astronomy mad - we have to negotiate not one but two telescopes in our dining room - so this morning we had a transit of venus breakfast party in our garden!!

DH is the commercial manager at the National Space Centre & he was in work at 5am to open the place up & watch it.He said that by 6.30am there were queues of people wanting to look through all the telescopes ect.

Sorry,I couldn't drag myself out of bed that early & with one thing & another,missed the whole thing.
