His 2nd Wimbledon win was supposed to make us feel better
post Brexit.

Can't say he has improved my outlook. Heather Watson and partner did cheer me up yesterday afternoon, they were clearing having so much fun while winning.

Costacoffeeplease · 11/07/2016 17:59

No - why would he?

Lottapianos · 11/07/2016 18:01

Sort of. I'm really chuffed for him. I'm not a tennis fan as such but I really like him and how he refuses to give the media what they want.

BeJayKayven · 11/07/2016 18:02

Yes, got to appreciate the happy news when it comes along

thatstoast · 11/07/2016 18:03

Yes, I like tennis and all my sporting hopes were riding on him after Wales left the euros. Also, I won £40 on a bet.

Costacoffeeplease · 11/07/2016 18:39

What's the link to brexit?

MountainDweller · 11/07/2016 18:41

Two weeks of Wimbledon cheered me up!

TendonQueen · 11/07/2016 18:42

All the papers took a 'now Britain has something to feel good about' line costa.

Personally, I still think everything's shot to shit, but I am pleased for Murray that he won. It was deserved and worked for.

P1nkP0ppy · 11/07/2016 18:43

Nope
He looks so b....y miserable how on earth can he cheer anyone up? can't stand the miserable wot sit

Costacoffeeplease · 11/07/2016 18:47

I live in Portugal - they won some football thing last night - doesn't mean they're not going to get sanctioned by the EU

Yes everything is still shot to shit Tendon do the powers that be think we're all stupid? Confused

Badders123 · 11/07/2016 18:52

Nope
Was much more cheered by reid and Watsons doubles wins

Wordsaremything · 15/07/2016 23:49

No. He's officially the worlds most boring man. Tennis is just a game.

AmIthatbloodycold · 17/07/2016 17:25

Yea. Totally cheered me up. I love Andy Murray

panegyricS1 · 18/07/2016 13:25

Yes, very pleased for him and his team, and I enjoy tennis.

I can't say that Brexit has devastated me though, I didn't need cheering up. I was disappointed for a day or two, that's all.

RortyCrankle · 18/07/2016 19:05

I can't watch him play - he's so depressing.

ginghambox · 18/07/2016 23:43

Why would it as a leaver, him and Lewis fucking Hamilton winning on the same day pissed me right off.
