Good

I've just seen that too, I didn't actually imagine they would go through with it, I'm quite impressed.

Of course if C4 work the right angles and apologise profusely and are seen to "do something about it" I'm reasonably sure that Carphone Warehouse will responsor them next year.

What will be interesting to see is if anyone else steps forward to sponsor it.

Personally, I'm glad that my involvement is limited to lurking on these threads as I do like to see how the discussion of racism goes and the news flashes on AOL every time I turn on the pc.

Remember that burberry dropped kate moss and then re-hired her 6 months later-- no doubt it will blow over but still at least they are taking a stand now

C4 is in dire financial trouble already

doormat · 18/01/2007 14:15

about time

Thank God somebody involved with the programme is taking a stand. If the producers, researchers, runners, etc had any self-respect they'd be walking out, too.

Good for Carphone Warehouse

bluejelly · 18/01/2007 14:25

Now the perfume shop is taking jade's perfume off its shelves

evamum · 18/01/2007 14:27

and have you seen this in timesonline article

'William Hill, a major British bookmaker, said it would not take any further bets on her winning the show because she did not deserve to - and if she did win, bosses would pay out on the housemate who comes second, except for those punters who had already backed Goody.'

Bookies with a conscience, I love it!

It'll be like the Kate Moss taking drugs thingy. She made even more money.

What does that say about society?

Sorry, but I find the celeb 'culture' concept one of the more pitiful things to come out of Western society recently.
