Is anyone else completely horrified by the situation at Idomeni? I read last night that refugees are suffering from trench foot. Red Cross apparently nowhere to be seen and the situation deteriorating. Many are vulnerable to gangs and exploitation.
Chinese artist Ai WeiWei visited Idomeni and said “It's such a disaster, you can't believe this is happening in Europe, in the 21st century." He also called it a ''violation of human rights, right infront of us.''
I am appalled by the lack of coherent response by the EU and the shameful abandonment of human rights that is happening.
