Sex Attacks in Cologne and other European Cities Part IX

Petition

Women in the UK must be free to work, travel and live free of sexual violence

Recently, women across the EU were subjected to mass sexual assaults of a type previously unknown in Europe. We demand that Government brings forward proposals for extra measures to uphold UK women's rights, safety & freedom, and to expand police understanding-recognition-response to such behaviour.

That article is shocking. Attacks in swimming pools seem to be very common. They are becoming no go areas for women ask children. Is nothing going to be done? Angry

I live in the U.S. No medical tests required to come here but we are here on temporary visas, not green cards. DHs job have offered to sponsor us for permanent residency and I think we might take that option. Canada is also an option as his company is based there.

Europe feels very different now. Last year we took a trip to Paris and it didn't feel like the city I fell in love with years ago. I felt quite uncomfortable on occasions with men staring and was glad to get back to our hotel which was outside the city. This was before the November attacks. I don't think I'll be going again, especially not with DD.

Last month we visited family in the UK. It was after being on these threads and I noticed that Asian cab drivers did not speak to me and didn't aknowledge me at all really. I don't know if this is a new thing or I just never noticed before. One of them said to DH that my DD talked too much.

Did any one see Wolfganf from Germany on Andrew Marr this am?

Talking of migration to Germany he said something like " we have had much migration since the war, from Italy, France etc and its been good for germany and fine" I was screaming at TV but they have similar cultures!

LOVED Boris on Andrew Marr, he said something like " The Jailer has accidentally left the door to the Jail open, you can see a crack of light beyond but so used to the jail, scared to go outside, but go outside its the promised land"! Couldn't agree more!

The Ex gov of Bank of England was scathing about EU too.

VertigoNun · 06/03/2016 17:18

King chose his words very carefully, he is anti EU.

AMouseLivedinaWindMill · 06/03/2016 17:39

I think Marr is too.

AnnaForbes · 06/03/2016 17:42

Mervyn king was good. Marr kept butting in when Boris was speaking and trying very hard to discredit him.

AMouseLivedinaWindMill · 06/03/2016 17:45

Yes I noticed that it was hard for Boris to get any flow.

Maybe its a personal dislike? but i still feel marr is anti EU

But he got in his chink of light comment and his stockholms yndrome comment.

The catalogue of sexual crimes over a 2 month period in that article you posted Britt is sickening. And upto 90% of sexual violence not being officially recorded. Why the fuck not!
It also states they're likely to see civil unrest in the summer, because obviously not enough crimes have been committed yet, despite 1000's of victims in the last 8 weeks alone. I bloody well hope there is an uprising come the summer, never mind unrest.
And it took police several hours to control the 30 odd migrants harassing and assaulting those children at the mall. I had no idea the German police were such a bunch of incompetents. They need to bring the army in to control these animals.

Britt im working class. Im teetotal. Ive never been drunk....not once. Ive never touched drugs. Drink and drugs never interested me. I did have a problem with overeating which ive tackled which has included losing a lot of weight. Im left wing not right wing. Oh and another way that i dont fit the stereotype ....ive never wanted children. Im childfree by choice.

I live on a social housing estate but i can tell you that if classist tripe programmes that are usually broadcast on Channel 5 came to film here they would be gone within a couple of hours because they would not be able to find their usual rhetoric.

Too many people are believing the tripe that are punted out by these programmes about the British working classes

Excellent post from Rumble on the other refugee thread. Re resources for the poorest in society already at breaking point, or breaking. The system would not cope with any more poor people coming here needing it, in a myriad of ways. Its not fair to the poor and needy of this coutry.

I wrote similar on MN last Thursday using the jail analogy.

BrittEkland · 06/03/2016 18:15

MARR is pro-EU.

Woodhill · 06/03/2016 18:19

also the beds in sheds thing needs to be tackled. Landlords exploiting new arrivals and not paying council tax. Surely these are modern slums and the risk of disease must factor in.

*Being in the EU is like being in a prison where the warders are going to leave the prison door open for 15 hours on 23 June 2016.

The prison door shuts forever after that.

I have already planned my escape - vote LEAVE*

That's what I wrote - I should charge Boris.

Andrew Marr is 3rd rate interviewer, definitely not a Paxo. The only decent interviewer left on the Beeb is Andrew Neil. Cameron has refused every request of Neil's for an interview. Cameron is frit of Neil.

jankf · 06/03/2016 18:24

I can't believe that this website has banned this user:
user1457171675
I thought we had freedom of speech to criticise what we don't agree with? Banning someone for speaking their mind is outrageous.

VertigoNun · 06/03/2016 18:27

How do you know they are banned?

AMouseLivedinaWindMill · 06/03/2016 18:30

Maybe Marina his wife is MNetter?

woodhill yes they are modern slums huge problem round my way because they are usually involved in illegal immigration trade too - whole area of illegal accmd, no fire regs, illiegal immigration, possibly people trafficking too...

MariscallRoad · 06/03/2016 18:50

Helena The real working class is Left. The problem is the Leaders have little to do with reality.

MariscallRoad · 06/03/2016 18:53

Labour Councils dont have much to do with Left unfortunately

MariscallRoad · 06/03/2016 18:54

I see though my labour MP and I write to her often

stationtostation78 · 06/03/2016 19:01

AMouse just joined and saw this thread - couldn't agree more, if anyone is interested in the needs of poorest in soc. then migrant crisis is a crisis for the poor already in our countries more than anything. Any money spent on migrants = less on the poor, who already are often is such a terrible place.

“In general terms, you can trace Russian funding to the extreme forces in Europe. Either left or right – as long as they are extreme, they are good to come into the Russian picture as of possible use in their tactics.
