Haven't seen another thread on this yet, so

Yet again the elitist anti-democratic Lords has saved our most vulnerable from the elitist anti-democratic Commons.

Wasn't the UN investigating the UK for breaching Human Rights wrt Tory treatment of the disabled? How was that going?

It's another story that doesn't seem to be attracting much media attention too.

As we know the media are very much in the pocket of the government when it comes to all of this. Any positive moves are ignored - a blinkered approach! The bullying of those less fortunate is widely encouraged in a constant effort to distract from the real budget issue. Private Eye can give you a little light relief;

Sadly the Private Eye story makes me even more depressed!

Me too Veritat. People at the lowest end being ground into the dust so that the big companies can take more and more and more. Just how the hell is this supposed to be good for the economy as a whole?

Everything's going to pot.
