That man that has been arrested for the Suffolk murders.....

he was in the DAily Mirror yesterday after offering himself to them for an interview, also in the local rag this morning.

Obviously he is innocent until proven guilty, but it reminded me of Ian Huntly offering himself for media interviews before he was arrested.

sky news report.

Thank the lord.

i know... he has given himself up - well i hope so.

lets hope this is the end, and WELL DONE suffolk police for acting so quickly

NotQuiteCockney · 18/12/2006 11:18

I think he was quoted innocuously in the Observer, with a comment about him knowing all of them etc etc. I remember being a bit at that ... felt like the author of the piece was too ... who knows of course.

tiredemma · 18/12/2006 11:21

we cant say 'yes you did it' of course, but there is a lot of info that could go against him.
Incidently- that young girl Vicky Hall lived in Trimley St Mary, she was found naked in 1999 , clothes still missing.

They're not going to have any DNA either, are they? None of the girls had been sexually assaulted - I half-heard that at the weekend, I don't know how accurate it is? This one might just be doing it for attention.

Unless they can find definite witnesses who saw the 5 girls with this bloke the last night they were seen, or who saw him dumping one of the bodies, how are they going to prove anything - it doesn't sound as if there's much in the way of forensic evidence

cyrilthefestivesquirrel · 18/12/2006 12:38

he's either a fantasist (which is what I thought when I read the interview) or a pschyopath (sp?)

edam · 18/12/2006 13:46

I hope they've got the right man. If it's true, then putting yourself forward for interview might smack of wanting the attention - seeking to be linked to the crimes even if you can't publicly say 'I did it'. There's certainly a parallel with Huntley.

tiredemma · 18/12/2006 13:51

Im still at the story behind Vicky hall who disappeared from the same village and was found in the same circumstances.
