Well, there is apparently still change for Pistorius to appeal so it might not happen.
He apparently spent a fortune in legal costs in the first trial including having to sell his house so there's speculation he may not have the funds for a further appeal. His family too have only made a brief noncommittal comment which of course may mean nothing in terms of his intentions but on the face of it it's not looking hopeful.
Apparently he has ten days to lodge an appeal if he's going to so not long to wait to see. I'm quite surprised he hasn't been returned straight to prison though. Surely he must be a flight or suicide risk?
