I've just been out to my tumble (in the garage) and it is affected!

I've just submitted my form for hot point to contact me.

Interesting to know how long we will all have to wait to get an engineer out. It says they will fix it. Not entirely sure how they will change where the heating element is in comparison to the fluff filter.

I'm alr day in a 'discussion' with them as I'm currently on my 3rd Warrenty repair
They clearly knew ther was an issue last week when I asked for a replacement
When it wasn't dotted a long winded excuse came out so I look to Twitter
I now have a more senior repairs man coming out
I'm fuming at their cavalier attitude
Profit before safety

That doesn't sound very promising newballs.

stuck in wheelchair 24/7 so couldn't escape if mine caught fire. had mine 3 weeks when I pointed out faulty, 6 months later with literally daily phonecalls, e-mails, I received a replacement Would not have managed this but Trading Standards intervened HOWEVER, replacement doesn't work, took seven and a half hours to dry some clothes, now I am told the replacement is a fire risk one, am horrified they are still supplying death traps long after being made aware. Greed before safety

I sent off my form about my affected tumble dryer at the start of the year. Six weeks later, I had an e-mailed reply to say that they would come and modify it free of charge in September. Alternatively, I could buy a brand new model costing £300 for the price of £100, with the provisio that the old machine would be taken away.

I am inclined not to buy a new one as I hardly use my tumble dryer and my dishwasher has broken down which is much more important to me.
