to spare a thought for those who find today a very difficult day.
We all recognise Remembrance Day as a time to stop, and remember our war dead...then when we have spent our two minutes paying our respects, we can just crack on with our normal day.
My thoughts are with those who's "normal day" has been changed forever by the horrors of war. The widows missing the man they love, the children growing up with a parent missing, the mothers and fathers missing a son or daughter.
My own DH is currently serving, and I have previously served, and as well as the feelings of sadness today, I also have to feel so very grateful. My husband, my DD's daddy, came home, when so many others didn't.
My thoughts and prayers are with those families who weren't so lucky.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
