This was on my local news... The Crown in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes has banned breastfeeding ... i used to live round the corner. Apparently a group of mums used to meet there regularly but some other regulars complained and said it made them feel embarresed so the landlord banned it!!!! i get really fed up of this sort of thing? why is it acceptable to ban such a natural thing??

Sorry what century do we live in. This beggars belief.

coddycodcod · 14/05/2004 20:54

maybe it was nothing to do with that and they used it as an excuse to get some drinkers in itsead?

Lisa78 · 14/05/2004 20:54

"the landLORD banned it"
There's your answer Spod, what a tosser - the mums should complain to the brewery

Ill be there, what a laugh. Giggle giggle. Your sooooo bad Lisa

Spod · 14/05/2004 21:05

yeah i think so, mainly a non-smoking pub too apparently, so logical place perhaps for mums to meet... being next to the health centre where baby clinics and mum and toddler groups take place
