There doesn't seem to be any doubt that the grand Mufti was a fascist and had a strong desire to eradicate the Jews, but honestly it doesn't seem Hitler needed much encouragement. Using this argument just suits Netanyahu's current agenda. It's not original and definitely not a mainstream view.

It's true unfortunately and very typical of right wing Isreali politics.

Israel I'd guess seems to think that it is on the receiving end brink of being on the 3rd intifada - which funny old world would coincide with rising tensions across the rest of the Middle East - with reports ISIS could be involved and Hamas are infighting with the Palestinian Authority.

During the recent Gaza Strip vs Israel artillery duels I used to ask the following question;

What is the difference between a Sunni Islamist Hamas, and a Sunni Islamist ISIS/ISIL/IS (whatever) - other than one wants to just wipe out everyone in Israel and the other, less fussy, wants to wipe out everyone?

I have a feeling that we'll find out with solid proof soon, especially if ISIS feels that it needs to move to a different less bombed bit of real estate where it can cause more divisions/mayhem.

ISIS are known for their effective I.T. propaganda, much of the current Palestinian 'protesting' is coming from their impressionable youth, and who really knows from which organisation, or location, those are doing the current wave of Israeli victims stabbing come from?

However, if Netanyahu is on a good will road trip ahead of the possibility of more Israeli retaliatory action, in Germany at least, using diplomatic terms - he dropped a goolie, as apparently Hitler had the other ("the dirty bugger").
