Pat Buchanan - Can the Establishment stop Trump or is it all over?

Pat Buchanan, one of the few real non-moderniser conservatives left on the planet, says it looks near to impossible for the Establishment to stop Trump now.

Carly Fiorina has collapsed to 4%, the Establishmentg media hype failed to help her, and Marco Rubio is now the Establishment's last chance to save themselves.

"The lights are burning late tonight in the suites of the establishment. For not since Sen. Barry Goldwater won the California primary in 1964 have their prospects appeared so grim.

Can Trump be stopped?"

www.wnd.com/2015/10/can-trump-be-stopped/

As Pat says, the mood of the people has changed. They are anti the political correctness agenda of the elites and the modernisers,

"In a year when a huge slice of the nation is disgusted with political correctness, wants to dethrone the establishment, wipe the slate clean and begin anew with someone fresh, Trump is in the pole position."

What happens in America could sweep here too. It looks like we may be witnessing the end of political correctness and the modernisers.

I'm not even going to bother countering your constant trollhunting on every single thread which ruins every thread.

I like Pat Buchanan, Doanld Trump, Farage, Thatcher and Corbyn because I am for the people and not the elites. I think Assad is far better than Isis and the funded Saudi Islamists. Vince Cable was on TV yesterday and said that "Saudi Arabia exportes terrorism" and has far worse human rights than China. I agree with Vince, but prefer Donald Trump and wish we had someone like him here.

I also like Bernie Sanders better than Establishment Clinton, but I still prefer Trump.

'Anti-Establishment Candidates Trump, Sanders Continue Rise In The Polls'

www.npr.org/2015/08/31/436377478/anti-establishment-candidates-trump-sanders-continue-rise-in-the-polls

I'm anti-establishment, anti puppet, anti elite. I'm with the people, I'm with Trump and since I know that America runs the world, if an anti-establishment President runs America then it will be the end of the puppet establishments across the world and that will liberate the people worldwide. That is why I want Trump to win, to end political correctnbess, end the climate change game and free the people from the elite.

I think I am in tune with the majority and I think Trump will be President and nothing will ever be the same again for the Economist and the financial elite.

"SIEGEL: So why is this happening? How do you explain this moment?

LIASSON: Well, we're going through a very anti-establishment, anti-Washington, anti-politician moment. It doesn't seem like it's going to end anytime soon. This doesn't mean that Trump or Carson or Bernie Sanders are going to be the nominee, but when you have a period of prolonged middle-class stagnation and gridlock in Washington and a world on fire where it doesn't seem that American power can do anything about it, you get a lot of political volatility. And as one Democratic member of Congress said to me, Trump and Sanders are two big middle fingers pointed at Washington. And you know, to some extent, you can see Carson and the other non-politician in the race, Carly Fiorina, benefiting from this mood, too."

I'm anti-establishment, anti puppet, anti elite. I'm with the people,

Apart from 80% of the Syrian people being murdered by 'the elites in the establishment', and why is that again?

But a convenient set of mantras to hide another agenda behind.

claig · 21/10/2015 11:55

'and why is that again?'

Once again, because the Saudi and Qatari elites are funding a bunch of beheading butchers and anti-Christian, anti Shia, anti Kurd terrorists to overthrow the Syrian government and spread Islamic terrorism across Europe and the world.

Yes, too bad that George Osborne isn't deluded enough to think he's an ordinary guy. Confused

Claig thinks Trump isn't an elitist??? OMG.

He began his career working in his dead's real estate company in a high real estate location (NYC). His parents had the means to make $million investments in the 1960s (back when $million was a fuck lot of money).

"Let golf be elitist."

His personal wealth is about $4.5 billion.

Just because he comes across as no-nonsense does not make him a man of the people.

I know a lot of Americans who ditched "the dream" & live in UK instead.

claig · 21/10/2015 12:15

yeOldeTrout, being rich doesn't make you elite

The whole reason "we the people" are backing Trump is because he is anti-establishment

I realise that you have your Western posting quota to meet, but tell a UK Mumsnet why the UK gives a rat tail why that racist bastard with absolutely NO IDEA on foreign policy (rarely remembering anyone non Americans name) gets elected in America or not?

claig · 21/10/2015 12:28

'but tell a UK Mumsnet why the UK gives a rat tail why that racist bastard with absolutely NO IDEA on foreign policy (rarely remembering anyone non Americans name) gets elected in America or not?'

Because what happens in America affects the entire world because America is the most powerful country in the world and the US President can choose to scrap the elite's climate change game and that will have ramifications across the entire world.

Be under no illusion, puppets, modernisers and rooftop wind turbine manufacturers here are panicking at Trump's poll ratings because they know that if he becomes President then he won't take very kindly to their politically correct spin when they turn up to meet him and are granted a visit and some of his valuable time at the White House. It will all be over and the people will have won.

Go Pat Go!
Go Trump 2016!

Once again, because the Saudi and Qatari elites are funding a bunch of beheading butchers and anti-Christian, anti Shia, anti Kurd terrorists to overthrow the Syrian government and spread Islamic terrorism across Europe and the world.

And so its OK for Assad and his Shia and Russian helpers to kill 80% of his population of 23 million, when the ISIS threat you refer to numbers less than 50,000?

Clearly SOMEONE wants Assad to stay in power no matter what, so its more than hypocritical to say someone who supports the attempted massacre in Syria by their President, is 'with the people'.

Isitmebut · 21/10/2015 12:36

P.S. Which funny old world, supporting Assad, Donald Trumpet agrees with.

claig · 21/10/2015 12:38

I have explained at some length where you are wrong in supporting Cameron on his Syria and Libya policy and where General Lord Dannatt, former Chief of the General Staff, and Admiral Lord West, former Head of the British Navy, are right about Syria and Assad on another thread. Keep discussions about that to that thread and I will correct you there.

This thread is about the future President of the United States and

Go Pat Go!

You have indeed repeated the SAME quotes from names you drop one hundred times, but NONE of them, or you (the poster of 'the people') - have explained why 80% of the Syrian population, 12 million already displaced - can ever trust their own president with Shia Iranian funded mercinaries, ever again.

Clearly Trump is in that same safe Western armchair giving his ignorant of the Middle East opinions, which does not bode well for a future President of the U.S.A. Fact.

claig · 22/10/2015 19:46

Trump challenges the politically correct elite and their servant class of luvvies on one of their core issues

"If I become president, we're gonna be saying Merry Christmas at every store ... You can leave happy holidays at the corner."

Trump supporters in the room said it was precisely Trump's aversion to political correctness that attracted them to the colorful candidate.

"He actually says what I want to hear and he's not worried about telling somebody or saying it in a way that doesn't sound real," said Cynthia Forth, a 60-year-old from Crawfordsville, Iowa. "I want to hear (it) straight. He'll give it to you straight."

edition.cnn.com/2015/10/21/politics/donald-trump-iowa-rally/

He is unstoppable. He is freeing the people from the elites, ending their politically correct control mechanism.

Go Trump 2016!
