Story here .
Well, I personally think a healthier balanced diet with smaller portion sizes (which is relative I know) combined with exercise (e.g. going for a 10 minute walk is exercise) is the key to avoiding obesity.

oh bugger ,i am officially obese according to the bmi index thingy ,although almost on verge of just being overweight (hurrah) and ive started running ,thought i could give it up then for a minute!

See my Mom is obese speedymama and her doctor keeps trying to get her to go to the gym. Please. She is too embarrased. I think a 10 min of excercise a day is the perfect way to start.
